World-class mica-based insulating materials

Products include mica flake and mica paper-based rigid laminates, moulded and flexible fabricated parts, and mica based tapes, which go to some of the leading locomotive workshops in Europe and North America for their electric motors and generators. Parts include commutator separators, v-rings, end bells, insulation kits for EMD locomotives, flexible punched parts. In addition, we have a wide application base in other industry segments, namely: industrial heaters, arc and induction furnaces, electrical switchgear, and press platen insulation, amongst others.

For over two decades, the Sahney insulation group has supplied outstanding mica based insulating products from their modern, automated, ISO certified locations in Nasik, India.

Today, we supply a wide variety of products to over 25 countries in various industry segments, while at the same time continuing to innovate new mica based products wherever applications demand both high temperature and high voltage requirements.
