Rigid Mica Plate

Splitting-based segment plate
Available in sheet or punched form, with 3 - 8% bond content in AV, epoxy, or shellac resin systems. Generally milled to very close tolerances. Thermally stable up to 300°C; pressures up to 600kg/cm2; electrical BDV > 20 kV/mm.

Applications

Inter-segment insulation for traction and industrial commutators; lifting magnets.
